It was brought to the attention of the Embassy that an online application called ‘Windey’, said to be engaged in the business of wind power generation and inviting Kenyans to invest money, is claiming to be affiliated to a Philippine-based company called WSP.
Upon verification by Philippine authorities, the so-called Windey app does NOT have ties to any Philippine company nor is based in the Philippines.
The Embassy urges the public to check first with relevant authorities the background and legitimacy of online investment applications that promise quick financial returns.
