PH EMBASSY VISITS FILIPINO MISSIONARIES IN KENYA

NAIROBI, 05 October 2024 — Philippine Ambassador Marie Charlotte G. Tang, along with Embassy personnel and their dependents, visited the Filipino members of the Missionaries of the Poor at the Our Lady of Visitation Monastery in Ruai Chokaa, East Nairobi on 28 September 2024.
Welcomed by the Monastery’s Superior, the Embassy was given an overview of the Mission’s work, which includes an orphanage for abandoned disabled boys, a school for children from extremely poor families, and other upcoming projects.
It was emphasized that these efforts, funded by the generosity of supporters, show that even the smallest contributions and volunteer efforts can make a significant difference in the children’s lives.
