NAIROBI, 03 SEPTEMBER 2024 – Philippine Ambassador to Kenya Marie Charlotte G. Tang met with Kenya School of Government (KSG) Director General Nura Mohamed and Director for Linkages, Partnership, and Collaboration, Dr. Prisca Oluoch-Oriwo, on 03 September 2024 to discuss possible areas of cooperation between the Philippines and the KSG.

Ambassador Tang and DG Mohamed expressed interest in establishing linkages between KSG and Philippine counterparts, highlighting the importance of exchanging best practices in the field of governance, research and development, and training of public servants for both countries.

Dr. Prisca Oluoch-Oriwo gives a briefing on the KSG’s mandate, functions, campuses, institutes, centers of excellence, and training programs and areas.

The KSG is a statutory body established under KSG Act No. 9 of 2012 with the mandate to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competencies of all Kenyan public officials through capacity development programs and training. KSG also conducts research, consultancy, policy advisory, and outreach. END
