PUBLIC ADVISORY NO. 2022-28
The Embassy informs the public that as announced by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) in its Resolutions No. 167-E dated 13 May 2022 and Resolution No. 167 dated 28 April 2022, respectively, the national COVID-19 vaccination certificates of KENYA and RWANDA shall be accepted/recognized by Philippine authorities for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols as well as inter-zonal/intra-zonal movement in the Philippines.

CLOSING OF OVERSEAS VOTING PERIOD ON 09 MAY 2022, 02:00 PM (Kenya Time)
Overseas Filipino voters are reminded that all ballots should be received by the Embassy before the end of the overseas voting period on 09 May 2022, 2:00 PM (Kenya Time) or 7 PM Philippine time. Ballots received after the overseas voting period will NOT be included in the counting and canvassing of votes.
Voters are advised to send back their accomplished ballots as soon as possible, taking into account the delivery period.

PUBLIC ADVISORY NO. 2022-25
Embassy Closed on 29 April, 2 and 3 May 2022 but Open for Overseas Voting
In observance of Philippine and Kenyan Holidays, the Embassy will be CLOSED to the public on:
- Friday, 29 April 2022 – National Holiday – State Funeral for the 3rd Kenyan President
- Monday, 02 May 2022 – Labor Day
- Tuesday, 03 May 2022 - Eidl Fitr
However, pursuant to COMELEC Resolution No. 10750, Article VI Section 27 on overseas voting for the National Elections, the Embassy will be open for overseas voting. Qualified Filipino voters may cast their votes on the above-mentioned dates from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (no lunch break). The voting period runs from 10 April until 09 May 2022.
