OVERSEAS VOTING FOR 2022 NATIONAL ELECTIONS
(PERSONAL VOTING AT THE EMBASSY)
The Philippine Embassy in Nairobi informs the public that overseas voting for the 2022 National Elections will commence on 10 April 2022 and conclude on 09 May 2022 at 7:00 pm, Philippine Time or 2:00 pm, East African Time.
During the voting period, the Embassy will be open for personal voting of registered Filipino voters in Kenya, Seychelles, Tanzania, and Uganda (please click here to see Certified List of Voters), from Monday to Sunday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (except for 09 May 2022, during which it will close at 2:00 pm).
In view of the continuing pandemic situation, the Embassy will implement proper social distancing during the voting. All are required to wear their face masks. Kindly bring your own pen, original passport, IDs, photocopy of your documents and eyeglasses.
Registered voters are strongly encouraged to exercise their right and civic duty to vote.

ADVISORY FOR REGISTERED FILIPINO OVERSEAS VOTERS IN THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO (DRC), REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO, RWANDA AND SOMALIA RE DISTRIBUTION OF BALLOT MAILING PACKETS FOR THE 2022 NATIONAL ELECTIONS
- All Filipino Overseas Voters registered at the Embassy of the Philippines in Nairobi, Kenya who are residing in The Democratic Republic of the Congo, The Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Somalia(please click here for the List) and have recently changed their mailing addressesare advised to inform the Embassy accordingly by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.with the following attachments:
- Copy of the data page of valid Philippine Passport; and
- Proof of address (any ID or document showing the new address)
This is to ensure that the ballots to be sent by mail or courier are delivered to the correct addresses of the voters.
- Per COMELEC Resolution No. 10750, the mailing packets containing the ballots and voting instructions may also be picked upby the voters themselves at the Philippine Embassy in Nairobi. Please advise the Embassy of your intention to personally claim your mailing packets by 10 April 2022 by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If no advice/email is received by 10 April 2022, the Embassy will mail the packet to your registered address.
- Ballots must be correctly filled out and returned to the Embassy. In accordance with instructions provided in the mailing packet.
Accomplished ballots must be received by the Embassy by 9 May 2022, 2:00 pm EAT. Ballots received after this time will be considered invalid per COMELEC Resolution No. 10750.
OVERSEAS VOTING FOR 2022 NATIONAL ELECTIONS
VICTORIA, SEYCHELLES
The Philippine Embassy in Nairobi informs the registered Filipino overseas voters in Seychelles that they may cast their votes for the 2022 National Elections during the consular mission of the Embassy to be held on 17 April 2022, Sunday, 08:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Philippine Honorary Consulate, J.K. Parcou Building, Providence Highway, Victoria, Seychelles.

In view of the continuing pandemic situation, the consular team will observe proper social distancing during the voting as part of the consular mission. Only five (5) voters at a time will be allowed to enter the venue. All are required to wear their facemasks and must have a normal body temperature. Kindly bring your own pen, original passport, IDs, photocopy of your documents and eyeglasses.
Registered voters are strongly encouraged to exercise their right and civic duty to vote.
