Blessing for the Consular Section
Nairobi, Kenya, 12 May 2019- The Philippine Embassy celebrated the Blessing of the newly renovated Consular Section of the Chancery at 001 Mzima Springs Road, Lavington, Nairobi, Kenya on 12 May 2019.
Reverend Rey Guanzon officiated the Blessing with Ambassador Alex G. Chua and the personnel of the Philippine Embassy in Nairobi and their families as witnesses
The Consular Team moved to the Consular Section on Monday, 06 May 2019 when the contractors and Highly Technical Consultant declared the area “ready for occupancy.”
Nairobi PE serves the consular needs of East Africa and includes the following countries in its consular jurisdiction: Burundi, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa), Malawi, Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
